The Sherman ARTFEST 2026 is coming to Sherman, Conn, June 19 – 21, 2026! Come join us in celebrating the fifth annual Sherman ARTFEST, sponsored by the Sherman Artists Association (SAA), both indoors at the Charter Hall (above the Firehouse) and outdoors on the Town Green (by the Daily Market and Firehouse) in Sherman. Over thirty artists will be selling paintings, photographs, pottery, jewelry, glass plus fabric arts. There will be an opening reception in Charter Hall, 1 Route 39 North, Sherman, CT, on Friday, June 19, 2025, 6 – 8 pm with refreshments and live music. The show will be open Saturday and Sunday, June 20 and 21, 10 am – 4 pm. Please stop by and meet an artist, learn what inspires them, and perhaps purchase some great art!
The participating painters and mixed media are Bethe Bogues, Christy Bonaiuto, Carolyn Cohen, Robin Levine Daas, Betsy Duckworth, Ted Hollander, Mike Kisner, Mary Jane Magoon, Christina Maschke, Doreen O’Connor, Zachary Osborn, Laura Paradiso, Terry Pasquale, Lorinda Pallisco, Jeanne Plekon, Llana Prusock, Liz Rosiello, Virginia Schaffer, Denise Schlesinger, and Lynn Slonaker.
Photographers include Tony Gomez, Claudia Griswold, Linda T Hubbard, Susan Locke, Roderike Pohl, and Judith Secco.
Plus: potters Eva Defranco and Tammy Lewis, glass by Kenny Litwack and Vincent Vigliotti, and fabric artist Muriel Stockdale.
In addition to the artwork, there will be live music! Friday night at the reception, Al Burgasser and Mark Bogues will be playing. And on Sunday afternoon, the “Serendipity Winds”, which is a traditional woodwind quintet consisting of flute, clarinet, oboe, horn, and bassoon, will play a variety of music, including classical, ragtime, and a few familiar Beatles tunes.
