The Sherman Artists Association invites members to take part in the 6th Annual Sherman Open Studios, December 5 & 6, 2026, 10 AM – 4 PM. This popular holiday-season event gives members the opportunity to showcase and sell their work directly to the public.
How to Participate
Artists may choose to:
- Open their own Sherman-based home studio
- Show their work at a pop-up location: the Sherman Senior Center, Sherman JCC, or Charter Hall (grid panels provided)
Participating artists handle their own table or display setup and sales. All work must be original and created by the artist. Pop-up locations are assigned based on a mix of artists and location capacity. Open to all current SAA members.
Bonus Exhibit at the Sherman Library
Participants are also invited to submit 1–2 pieces to our Library Group Show, on view November 20, 2026 – January 6, 2027, with an opening reception Friday, November 20, 6–8 PM. A 30% commission applies to library sales.
Key Dates & Fees
- Application deadline: Wednesday, October 7, 2026
- Acceptance letters: October 12, 2026
- Payment due: October 19, 2026
- Entry fee: $60 for home studios, $85 for pop-up locations
Images and descriptions submitted with applications are used for jurying and event publicity.
