The Sherman Artists Association opened its show “August Light 2026” in the Kent Art Association Building, 21 S. Main St, Kent, Connecticut, on August 14th. Over a hundred art enthusiasts attended the opening with great art, keyboard music by Roger Young, refreshments and the announcement of awards. Artwork includes paintings, photographs, mixed media, pottery and fused glass. The show continues through Sept 6, 2026. Open hours are: Thursday – Saturday 1 – 5pm, Sunday 12 – 4pm.
