Weir Farm is a magical place, once owned by artist J. Alden Weir, who painted its beautiful landscapes. Weβll enjoy a ranger-led tour of his home, studio, and
other historic buildings β and weβll have time to explore the property, sketch, and make art together.
π Friday, October 10
β° Arrive around 10:30 AM – we will have time to mingle, sketch, and scout sketching/painting locations before our tour
π¨ Tour starts at 11:30 AM (about 45 minutes)
β¨ Stay afterwards as long as youβd like to wander and create – there are exhibits in the visitor center, historic gardens, a pond trail, and more! Bring along your sketchbooks, plein air supplies, or just come to soak up the scenery. There is no food available for purchase, please bring any lunch or snacks, and be prepared to pack out any trash.

IMPORTANT – PARKING IS IN THE GROUP LOT β DO NOT PARK IN REGULAR VISITOR PARKING LOT!

Please DO NOT park in the regular visitor parking lot, rather our group will park in
our overflow lot. When you arrive, look for signs for our group visit and overflow parking area. Carpooling is suggested.
