Open Studios Call for Artists

6th Annual Sherman Open Studios 2026

December 5 & 6, 2026 | 10 AM – 4 PM

Home Studios plus Pop-up locations: Sherman Senior Center, Sherman JCC, and Charter Hall.

The Sherman Artists Association is now accepting applications for our 6th Annual Open Studios, taking place this December 5 & 6. This popular holiday-season event gives Sherman Artists members the opportunity to showcase and sell their work directly to the public.

How to Participate

Artists can choose to either:

✔️ Open their own Sherman-based home studio

✔️ Show their work at a pop-up location (grid panels provided)

All participating artists must handle their own table/display setup and sales. Work must be original and created by the artist. Pop-up locations will be assigned based on a mix of artists and location capacity.

This event is open to all current SAA members.

Bonus Exhibit at Sherman Library

As a participant, you’re also invited to submit 1–2 pieces to our Library Group Show:

• On view: November 20, 2026 – January 6, 2027
• Opening Reception: Friday, November 20 | 6–8 PM
• 30% commission applies to library sales.

Application deadline: Wednesday, October 7, 2026

Entry fee: Home Studios: $60 and Pop-up locations: $85

We will use images and descriptions for jurying and publicity.

Acceptance Letter: October 12, 2026

Payment due by October 19, 2026
