Special outing at Weir Farm National Historical Park

Hi SAA Members,

We’d love for you to join us for a special outing at Weir Farm National Historical Park in Wilton/Georgetown, CT!

Weir Farm is a magical place once owned by artist J. Alden Weir, who painted its beautiful landscapes. We’ll enjoy a ranger-led tour of his home, studio, and other historic buildings — and then we’ll have time to explore the property, sketch, and make art together.

Arrive by 10:00 AM

Tour starts at 11:00 AM (about 45 minutes)

Stay afterwards as long as you’d like to wander and create

Bring along your sketchbooks, plein air supplies, or just come to soak up the scenery.
