Art Fest

Artists, come join us in celebrating the third Sherman ARTFEST, sponsored by the
Sherman Artists Association (SAA), held in a new location: Charter Hall (Above the
Firehouse) and the Town Green (by the IGA and Firehouse) in Sherman. As our show
has grown over the last 2 years, we are moving to a larger location to accommodate
more artists. We are looking for artists who do paintings, photographs, pottery, glass,
jewelry, wood and more! There will be an opening reception in Charter Hall, 1 Route 39
North, Sherman, CT on Friday June 21, 2024 6 – 8pm and the show will be open
Saturday and Sunday June 21 and 23, 2024 10am – 4pm. Applications are due by
Friday May 3, 2024.
This show will be indoors in the main room at Charter Hall (top floor of Sherman’s
Firehouse) and outdoors on the Sherman Town Green. Artists are responsible for their
own displays, set-up and selling their work. All 2D and 3D artists are welcome to apply.
Indoor space is approximately 3’ x 12’. There will be panels to display 2 D artwork.
Artists are encouraged to bring their own if they have them. There will also be 8’ tables
available. Outdoor spaces are 10×10, and a tent is suggested. All artists are welcome
to apply. Work must be created by the artist and the artist is responsible for their own
insurance.
