Eclectic is how I see my photographic endeavors. Photographing, for me, resembles meditation…When I am photographing, all else in the world is transposed into oblivion. At the conception of my photographic journey,photographing children was my passion. My interests have expanded, but my approach remains rooted in curiosity and observation. I am drawn to finding unexpected moments in the ordinary. I have exhibited at The Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury,The Ridgefield Guild of Artists, The Carriage Barn in New Canaan, Rowayton Art Center, Richter Art Association in Danbury, The Meetinghouse in Ridgefield and once created a photojournalism project on the homeless for a former Mayor of New Haven. I graduated from The University of New England in Portland, Maine, and studied toward a BFA in photography at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut. My future explorations will include black and white street photography and abstract work incorporating oil and acrylic cold wax with collage.
