Eric Schmidt has family roots on Candlewood Lake dating back to 1945. His interest in photography started at age 10 with a Kodak Instamatic camera. He holds certificates in both Commercial Photography and Digital Photography and currently is an instructor in the Photography Department of Foothill College in Los Altos, California. He runs a small business named Resolution Photography.

Mr. Schmidt divides his time between California, Connecticut and Florida, looking for the next picture.
