August Light – August 4 – 27 at the Kent Art Association

August Light is an in-person art show held at the Kent Art Association. This is a jury show; artists must submit four (4) digital images via this form. All work submitted and shown at the August Light must personally be created by the artist.

The deadline for submissions is July 10th. Accepted artists will receive a notification via email regarding acceptance by July 17th.

Upon approval, the August Light Art Show entry fee is $20 for members and $35 for non-members. The entry fee will be taken online and paid to Sherman Artists Association for accepted work. All artists are responsible for bringing their work in a ready-to-show form, retrieving unsold work during pick-up times, and insurance for any hazard to their works. 

Join us and invite others to the August Light Art Show and meet wonderfully talented artists. The opening reception is Friday, August 4, 2023 from 6 to 8 pm, and the show continues from August 5th through August 27th, Thursdays through Saturdays, from 1 to 5 pm, and Sundays from 12 to 4 pm. at the Kent Art Association, 21 S Main St, Kent, CT 06757.

Drop-off times: – Wednesday, August 2, 2 pm – 5 pm Opening Reception: Friday, August 4, 2023 from 6 to 8 pm
Show Times – Opening Reception, Friday, June 23, from 6 to 8 pm
June 24 and 25 from 10 to 4 pm
Breakdown, Pack up, Move out – June 25 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm
