Sherman Artists ARTFEST 2024 – a Sherman Community Success!
Many thanks to everyone who participated, supported and came to the Sherman Artists ARTFEST June 21 – 13, 2024. This is the third year for this event, but the first year held on the Sherman Town Green and Charter Hall. Hosted by the Sherman Artists Association (www.shermanartists.org), there were over thirty artists with paintings, photographs, wood working, pottery, jewelry, handmade bags and more on the green and in the hall. Yes, the weather could have been cooler, but the enthusiasm of the artists and attendees was amazing. Special thanks to the ARTFEST committee headed by Lynn Slonaker and her team plus many thanks to Al Burgasser and Susanna Marker of LUMOS Music for their wonderful songs during the Friday night reception. It was a great weekend in Sherman!
