The Sherman Artists Association is presenting βApril Showcaseβ at the Live 4 Art Gallery in Pawling New York. There are paintings, photographs, glass, woodworks and pottery by thirty talented artists who have created over eighty artworks! There will be an opening reception on Friday April 3, 5 – 7pm. The gallery will be open 11 am β 6pm Thursdays through Sundays April 3 through April 26, 2026. For more information: www.shermanartists.org
The show is juried by Elizabeth MacDonald and Souby Boski. Best in Show, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place ribbons will be awarded. Elizabeth MacDonald is a renowned Bridgewater, Connecticut-based potter/sculptor known for creating large-scale, textured clay tile panels that evoke geological, and archaeological themes. Souby Boski has been an Art teacher in the CT public schools and Adjunct Professor of Art at Naugatuck Valley Community College. Since 2004, she has been teaching painting & ceramic classes and workshops at area art education venues in CT, MA and FL.
Participating artists are from Patterson and Pawling, NY, and Bethel, Kent, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Redding, and Sherman, CT. The artists are: Terry Ariano, Bethe Bogues, Randy Carboni, Donna Castelluccio, Greg Chadwick, Phyllis Chadwick, Carolyn Cohen, Eva DeFranco, Cynthia Dunn, Jennifer Forlastro, Jeff Ginsburg, Karen Golden, Tony Gomez, Bill Gore, Ted Hollander, Linda Hubbard, Elizabeth Knowles, Beth Levine, Kenny Litwack, Susan Locke, Mary Jane Magoon, Courtney Onofer, Terry Pasquale, Kathy Peck, Charlene Rocanelli β Leichter, Jamie Seymour, Virginia Schaffer, Lynn Slonaker, James Stasiak and Estelle Trabucco.
