Shapes, colors, and textures emerge as she works — each painting revealing its own unique story. 🌈🎨 This year at Open Studios, Christy has something extra special planned! Along with showcasing her vibrant artwork, she’ll be offering a hands-on acrylic pour painting craft for visitors. Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply love to get creative, you can make your own pour painting ornament to take home — a fun and memorable keepsake from this year’s event. ✨ In addition to her abstract painting and resin art, Christy is also a talented nature photographer, capturing the beauty of the outdoors with the same passion and eye for detail she brings to her studio work. A dedicated teacher and community artist, Christy holds classes at local libraries, birthday parties, sip-and-paint events, and more! She loves sharing her creativity with others and inspiring people of all ages to explore their artistic side. Christy’s passion for the arts extends far beyond her own studio. She serves on the boards of Gallery 25 in New Milford, the Sherman Artists Association, the Sherman Commission for the Arts, and the Great Hollow Photographers Club, helping to nurture and support the local arts community she’s so proud to be part of. 🌟 📸 To see more of Christy’s captivating artwork, visit her Facebook page: Christy B.
