My photographs of the natural world explore overlooked bits of nature, and reveal an intimate relationship between the photographer and object, which the viewer must flesh out. The objects captured are exposed in detail, sometimes in their natural setting and sometimes caught in an unnatural environment. They become abstractions and things of beauty against and within their backdrops. The photographs are observations of the interaction between humans and the natural world, how we consciously or inadvertently affect/alter/create dissonance and harmony within our surroundings.
