Virginia Schaffer finds inspiration in the breathtaking landscapes of the Sherman hillside, where every view offers a feast of colors, light, and natural beauty. Since beginning her watercolor journey in 2006, Virginia has honed her skills through workshops with local artists and a deep, personal exploration of the medium. 🌄🎨
Her process begins with a photograph or a view that captures her imagination, followed by days of reflection before she begins to paint—allowing each piece to evolve organically. The result is a vibrant, emotive watercolor that conveys the energy, color, and spirit of the scene she loves.
Virginia is a proud member of Gallery 25, Kent Art Association, SCAN, and NEWS, connecting her work with broader artistic communities.
