📍 Exhibiting at Sherman JCC
🗓 December 6 & 7, 10am–4pm

Susan Grisell is an artist whose more than 60 years of painting reflect a lifetime devoted to capturing the true essence of nature. A painter’s painter, Susan’s work is rooted in a deep respect for the natural world and shaped by the influence of her long-time mentor, the esteemed New England impressionist Bernard Lennon. Her paintings are honest, vibrant, and full of life—marked by bold brushwork and true-to-nature color that make each piece pulse with energy and authenticity. 🌺🌳

Susan’s style is a celebration of the natural world, where every brushstroke reflects a personal connection to her subject—whether it’s sunlight filtering through trees, the shimmer of water, or the quiet beauty of a garden in bloom. With her keen eye for light, line, and form, she paints what she sees simply and sincerely, with no pretense or affectation. Her work radiates timeless integrity, inviting viewers to see the world as she does—honest, vivid, and full of spirit.

Susan is a proud member of the Sherman Artists Association.

This December, experience Susan’s stunning paintings in person at the Sherman JCC during the Sherman Artists Open Studios Event on Dec 6 & 7 from 10am–4pm. Don’t miss the opportunity to witness the depth, beauty, and passion that define her six decades as a painter. 🎨✨
