🌟 Meet MaryJane Magoon – The Watercolor Artist Who Breathes Life Into Color 🎨✨
📍 Exhibiting at Sherman JCC
🗓 December 6 & 7, 10am–4pm
MaryJane Magoon is a watercolor artist whose work reflects her lifelong passion for color, design, and the natural beauty of her surroundings. Originally from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and having lived throughout the Midwest, MaryJane now calls Sherman, Connecticut home. Her background as an interior designer and certified color consultant deeply informs her art, allowing her to masterfully balance hue, contrast, and flow in every painting.
Inspired by the transparency and movement of watercolor, MaryJane captures the organic beauty of the natural world—letting her paint flow freely, much like the rhythms of nature itself. From lush landscapes to luminous abstracts, her work radiates emotion, harmony, and the pure joy of color. 🌸💧
MaryJane is a member of the Sherman Artists Association, the Society of Creative Arts, the New England Watercolor Society, the Northeast Watercolor Society, the Sherman Commission for the Arts, and the Kent Art Association. Her artistic reach extends far beyond her studio, inspiring both fellow artists and art enthusiasts alike.
Experience MaryJane’s vibrant watercolor paintings in person at the Sherman JCC during the Sherman Artists Open Studios Event on Dec 6 & 7 from 10am–4pm. Don’t miss the opportunity to see how she brings color and light to life with every brushstroke. 🎨✨
