SUMMARY:August Light 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Sherman Artists Association is hosting a show “August Light 2026” in the Kent Art Association Building\, 21 S. DESCRIPTION:6th Annual Sherman Open Studios 2026 \n\n\n\nDecember 5 & 6\, 2026 | 10 AM – 4 PM \n\n\n\nHome Studios plus Pop-up locations: Sherman Senior Center\, Sherman JCC\, and Charter Hall. \n\n\n\nThe Sherman Artists Association is now accepting applications for our 6th Annual Open Studios\, taking place this December 5 & 6. This popular holiday-season event gives Sherman Artists members the opportunity to showcase and sell their work directly to the public. \n\n\n\nHow to Participate \n\n\n\nArtists can choose to either: \n\n\n\n✔️ Open their own Sherman-based home studio \n\n\n\n✔️ Show their work at a pop-up location (grid panels provided) \n\n\n\nAll participating artists must handle their own table/display setup and sales. Work must be original and created by the artist. Pop-up locations will be assigned based on a mix of artists and location capacity. \n\n\n\nThis event is open to all current SAA members. \n\n\n\nBonus Exhibit at Sherman Library \n\n\n\nAs a participant\, you’re also invited to submit 1–2 pieces to our Library Group Show: \n\n\n\n\nOn view: November 20\, 2026 – January 6\, 2027\n\n\n\nOpening Reception: Friday\, November 20 | 6–8 PM\n\n\n\n30% commission applies to library sales.\n\n\n\n\nApplication deadline: Wednesday\, October 7\, 2026 \n\n\n\nEntry fee: Home Studios: $60 and Pop-up locations: $85 \n\n\n\nWe will use images and descriptions for jurying and publicity. \n\n\n\nAcceptance Letter: October 12\, 2026 \n\n\n\nPayment due by October 19\, 2026 \n\n\n\n\nApply here

SUMMARY:6th Annual Farm Day\, Happy Acres
DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for the 6th Annual Farm Day at Happy Acres Farm\, Sherman\, Conn. The Sherman Artists Association (SAA) is delighted to be participating again this year celebrating art\, community and rural charm.  We will be offering farm-themed artworks depicting Happy Acres\, farm life\, countryside scenes\, and similar genres to be raffled to lucky winners.   Raffle tickets are $5 each or 10 for $40.   The raffle is a fundraiser for the Sherman Artists Association.  The event is at Happy Acres Farm\, Saturday\, October 3\, 2026\, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Rain date Oct 4) For more information visit:  shermanartists.org. \n\n\n\nHappy Acres Farm is celebrating its 6th Annual Farm Day.
